Part-Time Beer Tender + Barista

Looking for a fun, part-time gig where you can learn about craft beer and coffee while working with a supportive, community-focused team? Slackers Brewing Co. is looking for a friendly, reliable person to join us as a Part-Time Beertender & Barista. If you’re curious, motivated, and excited to learn, we’ll provide the training and support to help you succeed.

Position: Part-Time Beertender & Barista

Hours: 10-15 hours per week, depending on events and foot traffic

Mostly weekend, daytime shifts

What You’ll Do:

• Create a warm, welcoming atmosphere for every guest
• Learn how to pour and serve beer and prepare coffee drinks with care
• Help guests navigate our beer and coffee offerings as your knowledge grows
• Accurately ring in orders using our easy-to-learn POS system
• Keep the bar and seating areas clean, organized, and inviting

What We’re Looking For:

• A positive attitude and a genuine desire to learn
• Friendly, dependable, and customer-focused
• Interest in craft beer, coffee, or hospitality
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs
• Food Handler and TABC certifications preferred (or willingness to obtain)

Slackers Brewing Co. is a family-owned & operated, family-friendly, LGBTQ+ accepting/affirming brewpub and coffee shop staffed by a team dedicated to educating customers on the ever-growing world of craft beer and coffee. We pour craft beer made in-house alongside locally roasted coffee and tea.
