Part-time Beer Tender & Barista
Are you looking for a part-time gig where you can share your love for brews with others? We’re seeking a friendly and enthusiastic individual to join our family as a part-time Beer Tender at Slackers Brewing Co.
Position: Part-time Beer Tender & Barista
Hours: Part-time hours, including weekdays and some weekends depending on scheduling
Experience: Previous restaurant or bartending experience is required. Barista experience is a plus. Back-of-the-house experience is also a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests
- Pour and serve beer and coffee with a smile
- Assist customers with questions and recommendations about our draft selections
- Keep tabs accurate using our user-friendly POS system
- Help maintain cleanliness in our bar and seating areas
- Dive into food prep and cooking tasks. Back-of-the-house participation is required for all staff members
- Keep the kitchen squeaky clean when working back of house
Qualifications:
- Food handlers certification and TABC certification required
- Passion for craft beer and a willingness to learn
- Friendly demeanor and excellent customer service skills
Slackers Brewing Co. is a family-friendly brewpub and coffee shop staffed by a team dedicated to educating customers on the ever-growing world of craft beer and coffee. Slackers pours craft beer, made in-house, as well as locally roasted coffee and tea.
