Part-Time Cellar Person

Hello, human! Ahem I mean… Well, hi there! We’re Slackers Brewing Co., a local brewpub in Northwest Austin. We’ve been brewing beer, pouring coffee, serving pretzels, tots, sandos, and pizzas, and just having a dang good time since 2021. We’re locally owned, radically inclusive (a.k.a. family friendly AND LGBTQ+ accepting!) And we’re totally and completely not weird or from outer space… seriously ๐

Position: Part-Time Cellar Person
Hours: Part-time, 10 hours per week โ Daytime shifts
Experience: No experience? No problem. We will train you! This is a great position if you’re looking to learn new skills in the brewing inudstry. We’re looking for an individual who works well on a team, can show up, work hard, and keep a good attitude.
Responsibilities:
- Transfer beer between tanks
- Clean and sanitize tanks, kegs, and other brewing equipment
- Monitor fermentation progress and report any issues to the brewery lead
- Package beer for distribution
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the brewing area
- Assist with the delivery of kegs to local clients
Requirements:ย
- Passion for craft beer and a desire to learn about the brewing process
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
- Ability to stand and walk all day and work in a physically demanding environment
- Physical ability to lift up to 55 lbs to shoulder height repetitively and physical ability to move up to 160 lbs to the waist
Pay: Hourly + tip pool
